Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy

At InstantBioHub (https://instantbiohub.com/), we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Notification of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed on our website, please submit a written DMCA notice with the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, including the URL or specific location on our website where the material appears;

  3. Your contact information, such as an address, telephone number, and email address;

  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf;

  6. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. The counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the content that has been removed or disabled and its location before it was removed;

  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;

  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;

  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your judicial district (or if outside the United States, you consent to jurisdiction in any district where we may be found);

  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complaining party and reinstate the content unless the complaining party files a lawsuit within 10 business days.

Repeat Infringers

InstantBioHub reserves the right to terminate access to users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
